Dr. Mukti Prakash Meher is a dedicated Consultant Gastroenterologist with over 6 years of experience in managing complex gastrointestinal, liver, and pancreatic disorders. He is recognized for his expertise in advanced endoscopic procedures, evidence-based clinical care, and patient-centered treatment approaches.
He completed his MBBS from VIMSAR, Burla, followed by MD in Internal Medicine and DM in Gastroenterology from BHU Hospital, Varanasi, where he received comprehensive training in diagnostic and interventional gastroenterology. His academic foundation and clinical experience have helped him develop specialized skills in managing a wide range of digestive and hepatobiliary conditions.
Dr. Meher has extensive experience in advanced endoscopic procedures, having independently performed over 500 ERCP procedures and more than 300 EUS procedures, including diagnostic and therapeutic interventions. He is also skilled in procedures such as Endoscopic Mucosal Resection (EMR) and Endoscopic Sphincterotomy (EST).
His clinical areas of expertise include chronic liver diseases, pancreatic disorders, gastrointestinal bleeding, inflammatory bowel disease, and gastrointestinal cancers. Along with his clinical practice, Dr. Meher has contributed to medical research through more than 25 publications in national and international journals.
A member of reputed gastroenterology associations including ISG and INASL, Dr. Meher continues to stay engaged in academic advancement and clinical learning.
